Both the eyes and the legs had been bothering me and even though Arcee was technically done I decided to make improvements.
Instead of lenses her eyes are now a blue lame fabric. The legs were actually pretty easy to fix, I simply cut out the funfoam flip-flops and then added a few pieces of ribbon to give the legs some better shape then wore heels underneath. I'm so glad I got those Grimlock heels, even though I probably won't do the outfit those shoes rock.
Looks fantastic! Excellent job. Yeah, that lame is great stuff. I use it for nearly all of my character eyes. Congrats on your win in the costume contest, btw.
That's one awesome costume Often robo costumes look plain stupid because they just have so different proportions to humans that you can not reach when having to put a human inside, but this worked out fabulous!

He is our dipstick! And nobody pushes him around!
For Animated the mask is closer in facial appearance and my facial structure isn't really close to G1 Arcee's either. Then there's the whole optic issue.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
